Probably my best book thus far in terms of action, breadth, and attitude. I’m not sure where I channelled Jessie from, but it was a good place. She was a fun heroine and I really like her. Rick’s a sexy beast, too, in his own surprising way.

This was actually my first book, and about the 7th draft of it was what was published. Chris is probably my most intimate heroine, the most damaged and vulnerable. I enjoyed writing about her emergence as a fully-expressed woman. And Connor. OMG.

Wow, written to order book for the Athena Force series. I was surprised by how difficult this project was, but once I figured out what was really underlying Nikki’s motivation, the book sort of took off on its own. It was also interesting to put myself back into the mind of a 24-year-old woman who’s a fish out of water. Johnny — what a shark swimming in those dangerous Hong Kong waters. Yum!
